VIEW GEMSTONE  ON WIKIPEDIA What is Heliodor? Heliodor originates from the beryl family of gems, and it occurs in yellow - to pale-yellow, deep-orange, orange-yellow, and greenish-yellow colours. It is a stone that can do pretty well when turned into jewellery; you can tell by its unique, beautiful col ours. One hard truth about heliodor stone is that it is not expensive until it is 10+ carats and with good clarity and a good hue. It acquired its name from Namibia as a trading name.
